about a walk

I am fascinated by rubbish because it will survive and it will talk about us. In an imaginary Museum in the future, garbage will be the greatest testimony of our age. For a month I picked up objects found along the sea close to my home in Sardinia (I’m from Ogliastra province) with the aim to discover which were the most commons. I was surprised to find that the typical waste along my part of the coast was rifle bullets. Bullet’s finding reveals the most important crime’s facts: Ogliastra is the Italy province with fewer inhabitants and the largest number of unresolved crimes. We are what we waste.
