Francesca Pili was born in the city of Benevento, in Southern Italy, in 1986.
She completed her high school study in Sardinia. In 2006 she moved to Bologna where she studied Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts.
In 2014 she earned a Master degree in photojournalism in Naples, with the thesis Saluti da … Telese2, supervised by the professors Donella Di Marzio and Aniello Barone. Her current research interest and her art work are inspired by environmental issues and dynamics.
